What we have been doing...

This last week has been lots of fun for our family! Nathan finished the summer reading program at our library and they had a face painting picnic to finish it off! Isn't he a cute tiger?

Then we went to the lake for the first time and Nathan absolutly loved it! It was just Nathan and me with my sisters and we had a blast! I have a water puppy!

Then on Saturday we went to Rock Creek Hollow for our stakes Pioneer Celebration dinner and program. I love Rock Creek. The Spirit is so strong you have no doubt you are standing on sacred ground. Pres. Hinckley even said that he didn't know of a more sacred place than Rock Creek Hollow. For those of you who don't have any idea what I am talking about, Rock Creek Hollow is where the Willie Handcart company took refuge during a horrible winter storm in the Oct. of 1856. 17 members of thier company died and are buried there. It is a place that is very special for me becuase I really admire and love those pioneers who sacrificed so much to have religious freedom and be together with thier families forever.
Rock Creek HollowMichael and Nathan walked and walked into the hollow! It was a little windy but they made it!

Hope you all are having a great summer!!
