Family Trip to CA- 2017 Edition

The first week of December we ran away from the winter of Wyoming and enjoyed the sunny heat of California!

The boys took thier first plane ride

we spent 3 days riding, visiting and enjoying Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure

a day at Sea World

and a day at Legoland!

On our last day, we took an hour to visit the LA temple grounds!

and no trip to CA would be complete without a stop at the beach :)

The Sound of Music

I got the amazing opportunity these past few months to be a part of a play again!!! Not only a play but one of my favorite musicals!!!!

THE SOUND OF MUSIC!

I have wanted to be in this musical since I was a little kid- it was one I always loved to watch and sing along to. I heard that Worland was going to put it on and so I gave it a shot and auditioned. I didn't know what to expect but I was cast as Mother Abbess! I never knew I could practice and increase my vocal range as I have done. Singing "Climb every Mountain" is no small feat. I am so blessed! The rehersals are Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays. Micheal has Monday and Tuesdays off and when I need to attend a Thursday rehersal, his grandma in Worland has agreed to babysit for me!! It could not be more perfect!

Add onto this that I am offically a licensed teacher in the State of Wyoming and teaching my very first year as a preschool teacher! Life could not be more perfect or wonderful!! I can not thank my Heavenly Father enough for all these wonderful blessings!

Graduation from 1st grade, Kindergarten and College!!

May 2017 brought lots of graduation joy!

Nathan finished a great year of 1st grade! He was able to take a trip to his teacher, Mrs. Cordoningly's farm and feed a baby sheep.

Ammon finished his first year of Kindergarten! His class visited the Dinosaur museum and he just loved seeing all the dinos.

Luke is the lucky duck who got to do it all!

Mom finally, 10 years in the making, graduated with her bachelors degree!!! Wahooo!! Mom is now offically a teacher!!

Oh and surpise to us all, Nathan won a BIKE for having perfect attendence the whole school year!!! How did that happen?!?

I think they were all ready for the last day of school ;)

26 inches...

To celebrate turning 30 years old (WHAT?!?!??) Mom got her hair cut and donated it to Locks of Love (the only donation site that accepts dyed hair).

 After measuring it, Mom donated 26 inches of hair!!

Spring Recital

It's another dance recital! I have had so much fun watching Ammon learn and grow to love his tap class. It is such a great thing to have something he excels in that only he can do! #middlechildproblems LOL

This time around, they danced to "Achy Breaky Heart" and he again just stole the audiences' hearts!

Mom also danced! This time it was a medly of Michael Jackson songs- Black or White, Billie Jean and of course, Thriller!
